Ultimo sensor

BEA Ultimo sensor (also known as BEA ULTIMO or Ultimo) is a high-performance automatic sliding door sensor designed for pedestrian sliding doors.

It is a dual-technology sensor that combines:

• Microwave Doppler radar for motion detection (activates the door when people or objects approach), and

• Three adjustable active infrared (AIR) curtains (each with up to 32 detection spots) for presence/safety detection (prevents the door from closing on pedestrians, objects, or children in the doorway).

It features BEA’s proprietary ULTI-SHIELD technology for enhanced and customisable safety coverage, including better detection of low-lying objects or people lingering in the threshold.
