IXIO sensor DT-1

IXIO sensor (also known as BEA IXIO) is a compact, high-performance automatic door sensor designed for pedestrian sliding doors.

It is a dual-technology sensor (in models like IXIO-DT1) that combines:

  • Microwave radar for motion detection (activates the door when someone approaches), and

  • Active infrared (AIR) curtains for presence/safety detection (prevents the door from closing on people or objects).

There is also an infrared-only version (IXIO-ST) used purely for safety/presence monitoring.
